What is SuperNTSC?
SuperNTSC is a fusion plugin which can replicate the old school NTSC/VHS/CRT effects inside Resolve.
Feature:
Ringing Effect
Chroma/Luma
Rainbow Effect
Noise
Oversaturation
Modulation Channels
PARAMETERS
Window Size: change the overall size of the window.
Window Bias: change offset shape of window. This can make artifacts smear to one side or the other.
NTSC Scale: change the overall scale of the NTSC-style encoding and decoding artifacts.
Saturation: overall saturation control.
Static Noise: amount of TV static.
Phase: phase alternation control.
ColorBurst Encoder/Decoder: control wavelength of the color signal.
AM Carrier Wavelength: simulated AM signal transmission.
AM Demodulation: recovers the original video signal from an AM carrier wave.
Decode Highpass: it is also known as chroma killer, because it helps to reduce the cross-color artifacts caused by the interference of the color subcarrier with the luminance signal.
Decode Lowpass: apply a low-pass filter to a video signal to extract or remove certain components of the signal. The higher this value, the blurrier the image.
Luminace (Y): filter that passes the luminance (brightness) component of a video signal and attenuates the chrominance (color) component.
Chrominance (I & Q): I and Q are two components of a color video signal that represent the hue and saturation of the color. The I component corresponds to the orange-cyan color axis, the Q component corresponds to the magenta-yellow color axis.
