What is SuperVHS Fuse?
SuperVHS Fuse is a powerful fusion plugin for Davinci Resolve. It can replicate various VHS effects ranging from those 90s bloomy retro look to glitchy color damages.
PARAMETERS
VHS Grade
Blur: adds the exact VHS blur in the footage.
Chromatic Aberration: split the RGB components of the footage.
Edge Burn: highlights the edges of the objects in the scene.
White Levels: adjust the overall brightness of the white portions.
Bloom: adds a special VHS flavor in the scene.
Displacements
Shake Offset: adjust shake glitch amount in the scene.
Screen Bounce: adds random screen bounces.
Roll: add continuous rolling glitch in the scene to make more authentic VHS shots.
Distortion: adds wave jitters in the scene, strength
of the waves can be adjusted.
Crease
Adds a custom glitch line in the scene using the position and strength slider.
Wave Bands
These are distortion bands which rolls through the scene; the strength, size and speed can be adjusted.
VHS Strip
Shift Line: adds horizontal displacements in the
scene which corrects itself with time, the speed can be adjusted.
Glitch Strip: adds random glitch strips rolling from
the bottom.
Tape Noise
Statics: adds VHS tape noises randomly.
Grains: adds crease grains.
Scanlines: adds damaged scanlines.
White Noise: adds random blocks of noise.
Hue Damage
Add color damages in the scene by adjusting the red, green and blue sliders. Randomness and amount can also be adjust.
Pause Effect
Adds a jittery pause line in the scene, the upper and lower portions can be adjusted by the threshold parameters.
Every parameter can be key framed to get desired results in any section of the video.
