What is Datamosh Fuse?
Datamoshing is a technique that involves corrupting video files by manipulating frame data to create visually corrupted effects during playback. Datamosh Fuse is a pack of two plugins which allows us to replicate the datamosh effect directly in fusion. The Datamosh Fuse pack includes two powerful plugins: DatamoshClassic and DatamoshLive. DatamoshClassic enables you to achieve the original datamosh visuals, while DatamoshLive allows for real-time frame corruption using shader programming.

Frame Repetition Mode
PARAMETERS
Datamosh Classic
There are various advanced options in Datamosh Classic, description for basic control is given here.
Basic Controls Mode: Choose the datamosh effect type.
Frame Deletion: Automatically deletes few i-frames to get datamosh transitions
Repetition: Copies number of delta frames for a particular interval. We have delta frames slider to change the number of frames for repetition.
AutoMosh: Automatically removes keyframes based on their size.
Effect Frame Range: Control the length of the datamosh effect throughout the video.
Frame Threshold: Adjust the frame size threshold for AutoMosh, a lower value means higher frame deletion.
Datamosh: Start the datamoshing process by clicking this button. Internal steps executed by this fuse:
Renders the composition and save the image sequence in the temp folder
Uses FFmpeg to convert the image sequence to .avi format
Manipulates the .avi file data with built-in scripts
Fixes the corrupted file with FFmpeg and export to the desired location.
Cleans up the temporary files and import the rendered file in Media Pool.
Datamosh Live
This is shader based realtime video corruption plugin with there controls:
Chunk Size: Adjust the size of the buffer blocks.
Delta Time: Control the number of delta frame repetitions.
Smoothness: Fine-tune the movement of the corrupted pixels.
Corrupt: Add directional flow to the corrupted pixels.
Angle: Adjust the angle of the flow.
Jitter: Add random jittery motion in the flow direction.
Blend: Control the overall effect amount.
Freeze: Stop the frame without further frame corruption.
Play: Release the frozen frame and continue frame corruption
